
Job Description:
POSITION SUMMARY
The Community Outreach Representative provides community, faith based and area organizations with education of company services and resources including Special Needs Health Plan. Develop relationships with key contacts within the perspective territories to further sales objectives and branding opportunities for Special Needs Health plan.
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Establish relationships in area thru education, seminars, face to face visits, community outreach and events. Strategically align and assist marketing efforts with sales force. Maintain a database of contacts. Develop potential alliances with organizations that will improve sales efforts. Maintain credentials for licensing and directing continuing education classes for health care professionals.
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree preferred Minimum 1-2 years of community outreach experience Strong computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.)
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES Must have, or be able to obtain within 90 days, a Health, Life Insurance or all appropriate state licenses Experience with health and insurance plans preferred Self starting individual who is goal oriented. Detail oriented with strong organizational skills Strong communication and presentation skills Has automobile and appropriate car insurance
