Compensation Manager

Description



Responsible for compensation implementation, communications, administration and collaboration on compensation design & strategy work to achieve company goals for diverse TM base. Responsible for Vendor RFP process, Vendor Management, survey data review/reporting and Federal & State compliance relative to programs.  Oversees and ensure compliance of leave of absence management administration.

Assist in developing compensation strategies & modeling for base and short term incentive programs for corporate and operations managers, implement, communicate and monitor compensation programs, including management of compensation structure, job evaluations & market surveys, market & internal job leveling, benchmarking & reporting.  Assures through audits and l review, that company compensation programs are consistently administered in compliance with company policies and government regulations. Collaborate on annual merit review process.

Oversees administration of 401(k) Plan, Health & Welfare Benefits Plans, EAP, TM discount programs, etc. Evaluates and compares existing benefits with competitor's benefits, analyzing surveys, etc.  Manages vendor request for proposal process, evaluates cost information, reports and makes recommendations on design/cost efficiencies. Reviews contracts, manages vendor performance, and oversees LOA administration.  Acts as Secretary to Benefits Committee. Project manages annual open enrollment for Health & Welfare Benefit Plans.

Ensure compliance with all federal and state legislation relating to compensation & benefits & leave of absence. Participate in ERP analysis & system implementation from a compensation & benefits position.


Requirements



Required/Preferred Education:
  • Bachelor Degree Business Administration/HR Management
  • CCP, CBP, SPHR Preferred


Years of Experience Preferred/Required:
  • 7 - 9 years of experience (functional & seasoned management)


Other Requirements:
  • Prior restaurant/retail industry compensation & benefits experience preferred
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and cross functional team facilitation
  • Strong quantitative, analytical and problem solving skills
  • Strong negotiation skills and the demonstrated ability to interact with all levels of employees and management
