Compliance Engineer

Responsibilities:

  • Administer domestic and foreign compliance and certification programs for both current and future products, working with certifying agencies to ensure product certification is achieved in a timely basis and maintained without issue.
  • Evaluate regulatory trends and revisions, working with functional departments to react to upcoming changes without interruption to certifications.

 

Qualifications:

  • BS – Mechanical/Electrical Engineering
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience with domestic and international compliance and certification programs
  • Experience with HVAC/ Refrigeration/ Combustion/Gas Furnace preferred
  • Expertise in both national and international standards that define safety and regulatory requirements for HVAC products
  • Project management skills
  • Key words: UL, CE, RoHs, NEC, ETL
  • Excellent Communication Skills - Written & Verbal, able to interface with employees at all levels of the organization
  • Must have excellent Computer Skills
