We have an immediate need for a Component Engineer
JOB DESCRIPTION
Great opportunity for a long term contract assignment for a Component Engineer with one of our clients in Chelsea, MI. This Component / Durability Engineer will be involved with identification of issues, root cause analysis, communication, documentation and final validation. Will work closely with engineers, technicians, mechanics, and drivers to execute effective and efficient vehicle testing. Will participate and lead issue discussions with peers as well as upper management.
Required education and experience includes a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering along with five years recent relevant experience.
Required skills include experience with suspension, steering, fuel systems, wheels, thermal/cooling systems, I/P trim/seating tooling, airbags, mirrors, wiper systems, and exterior lighting.
