We have an immediate need for a Component Engineers-Suspension
JOB DESCRIPTION
Great opportunity for long term contract assignments for two Component Engineers with suspension design and development experience with one of our clients in Auburn Hill, MI. These Engineers will design and develop suspension structural components such as suspension cradles, crossmembers, control arms, links, knuckles and ball joints. Will also be responsible for front and rear suspension modules.
Required education and skills included a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering along with a minimum of three years experience in suspension design and development. Required skills include experience with Catia and/or Unigraphics.
Qualified candidates should have experience in designing and developing suspension structural components. Must be familiar with GD&T and be able to ensure models are properly dimensioned. A background in developing and executing DFMEAs and DVP&Rs is needed. Experience with Catia and/or Unigraphics is required. Good communication skills are a must as the Engineers will be required to work and provide direction to suppliers and provide feedback up and across the organization.
