CFD Research Corporation (CFDRC) is seeking a Computational Scientist/Engineer to help in several aerospace related projects involving CFD software development, adaptation and integration. The position requires in depth knowledge of numerical methods for computational fluid dynamics and good background in kinetics theory and numerical methods for solving kinetic equations (Boltzmann). Position Requirements:                                                                                   

• PhD in Mathematics, Physics or Engineering
  
• Experience with CFD software development especially unstructured and adaptive Cartesian technology and finite volume methods
  
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
  
• Any of the following is a plus: experience in developing coupled kinetic and continuum models, experience in development of large scale parallel codes, and experience in GPU-assisted computing
  
• U.S. Citizenship or U.S. Permanent Residency status is preferred
