Participate in an Incident Response Team responsible for responding to computer security events. Investigate and perform incident analysis to include system, network, and malicious code analysis. Perform incident reporting with distribution to proper DoD channels and law enforcement/intelligence communities. Response team is 24x7, with on call responsibilities. Available openings in swing shift 1:30PM to 10:00PM and 9:30PM to 6:00AM.

5 years IT experience required with either a minimum 2 years in incident response, or 2 years Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS) analysis. Ideal candidate is a mid level IDS analyst interested in performing incident response or a junior/mid level incident response analyst with strong IDS capabilities.

GCIA, GCIH, CISSP desirable
BS in Computer Science or related field of study desirable

*Ability to analyze network security data. 
*Excellent analytical skills required.
*Ability to work independently and with a team.
*Ability to reverse engineering malicious code desired.
*Understanding of attack vectors, staged attacks, etc.
* Understanding of Incident Response tools, processes, and procedures desired.
