Job Responsibilities include designing and integrating digital forensics technologies to:

1. Develop and document security evaluation test plans and procedures.
   
2. Design algorithms to detect vulnerabilities and test mitigation strategies.
   
3. Assess and calculate risk based on threats, vulnerabilities and shortfalls uncovered in testing.
   
4. Create new methodologies to source, secure, analyze and document attacks.

This is a Direct Hire, Full-Time position offered through Volt Technical Resources - a division of a Fortune 1000 publicly traded Staffing Industry Leader, which is headquartered in Redmond, Washington. Requirements:

Cyber Forensic Specialist Qualifications:

• Strong analytical skills with reverse engineering experience required.
  
• Must be very specialized in cryptography and forensic cyber security.
  
• Encryption and cipher breaking techniques or research history with strong cyber security track record.
  
• Computer Scientist, Engineers with Intelligence, NSA or Special Operation Forces background are particularly encouraged to apply.
  
• Must have Computer Science or Math degree and a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar development role. (The company is looking for a "Pioneer" who can build things that haven't been built before. This will be the ultimate hacker prevention!)
  
• 4 to 8 years of Cyber Forensic experience.
  
• The ability to work in a team environment and independently.
  
• Excellent communication, organization and creative thinking skills.
  
• Must be a US Citizen who will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
  
• Occasional travel is required for this position.

Desired Qualifications:

• Experience in preservation, identification, authentication, data extraction and analysis across all digital media.
  
• Expertise in analyzing technical specifications of hardware and features of GOTS and COTS software.
  
• Demonstrated ability to perform robust analysis and present innovative solutions for mitigation strategies.
  
• Demonstrated ability to detect vulnerabilities and mediate trans attack.
