Our National Security Global Business is currently seeking a Computer Systems Administrator Programmer. This position is located in St. Robert, MO. The selected candidate will work in the Fort Leonard Wood area at our office or in government facilities.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Systems Administrator - requiring capability in security administration, network management, installation of server application, and hardware/software configuration management utilizing Linux-RedHat, HP UNIX, SGI IRIX, Windows 98/NT/ 2000/XP, and VMS for desktop/workstation/server computer systems.
Programmer - develop interface programs between simulation models and robotic systems for the analysis of autonomous behaviors in robotic systems.
Manage daily operations of equipment and assist in the management of computer systems used for modeling, simulations (war gaming) and analysis during training or experimentation execution.
Provide system analysis support by determining the requirement for computer simulations for analysis.
THE FOLLOWING REQUIREMENTS MUST BE MET TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS POSITION:
Education: The candidate must have at least a BS in Computer Science, Information Systems Management, or a related field.
Experience: At least 8 years experience with computer programming, specifically with the programming of robotic systems.
Skills: Computer systems hardware maintenance and configuration, Operating systems: Windows 98, Windows NT, Windows 2000, Windows XP, Linux - Redhat, JavaScript, C and MatLab. Programming Skills - user-interface design; desktop, web, and database application programming; robotics control; and system modeling. Experience includes object-oriented programming, scripting, and technical support. Strengths include problem-solving, testing & debugging, and written communication.
Travel: Domestic and Foreign travel is anticipated 1 - 2 times monthly.
Relocation: Relocation assistance is not available.
Citizenship: US Citizenship is required in order to obtain a Secret Clearance
Security Clearance: Must be willing to submit to a security investigation, meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information and obtain a DoD security clearance.
