Computer Technical Support Analyst Sr
Description:
oTroubleshoot and provide resolution to network problems
oRefer non-ancillary actions to Job Control for resolution
oResolve user network resource application questions
oInitiate, track, and conclude all actions in Remedy
oTrack replenishment efforts and status in Remedy
oAssign ticket numbers for outages in Remedy
oAssign maintenance actions to work centers through Job Control
oReview status and update open tickets
oReport job status to the Systems Center
oVerify ticket closure status with customer
oGenerate monthly, quarterly, and semi-annual performance statistics
oProvide customer support outside of NCC on midshift and weekends, if required
oProvide "first look" network troubleshooting on midshift and weekends, if required
Command Center specific functions:
oCoordinate work schedules, tasking and project information between NCC Help Desk and Command Center Technicians.
oCoordinate with WSS personnel to address customer issues and resolve or forward to NCC management as appropriate.
oAct as a focal point for the Command Center technicians; interact with NCC management to support the 721CS mission.
oAddress Command Center Technician concerns and escalate to NCC management as necessary.
oEnsure NCC policies and procedures are adhered to by Command Center Technicians.
oSecurity Awareness, Allow Center Access, Receive Changeover Brief, Operate Computer Systems, Handle Classified Material, operate Communication Equipment, Operate Video Display Equipment.
oMonitor and coordinate data requirements to ensure accurate and timely handling of message traffic.
oOperate both secure and non-secure communications systems and consoles.
oParticipate in local and national directed exercises.
oAccomplish C2 related duties to support the Command Center crew in the execution of its mission.
oPerform operations check daily and report outages to the appropriate shop as they occur.
oPerform first look maintenance on Video, Network, and Communication systems located in the Command Center. Escalate unresolved issues to the appropriate work center.
oSupport NCC personnel in testing and troubleshooting network issues in the Command Center.
oCoordinate and participate in installation and renovation projects
oPerform other duties as required by NCC management
oEmployment is contingent on the ability to work flexible schedules including weekends and/or holidays as well as the ability to obtain and hold a SECRET level clearance
Qualifications:
SECRET security clearance or ability to obtain an Interim clearance.
Ability to troubleshoot and repair network issues in a Microsoft Operating System environment.
Troubleshoot and repair network printers.
Effective customer skills.
Must have flexibility to cover different shifts as needed.
