Position: Computer Vision Scientist Location: VA Experience: 5+ years Education: MS with PhD preferred
Job Description:
The successful candidate will join an outstanding computer vision and sensor exploitation R&D group as a principal investigator on one or more projects involving applications of computer vision. Develop novel concepts, design algorithms, design systems and rapidly prototype software in the field of computer vision. Applications of interest include video processing, aerial video exploitation, hyperspectral and LIDAR image interpretation, photogrammetry, and mobile robotics. The successful candidate will be capable of performing original research, leading a small team of researchers and engineers, and winning new business from commercial and government clients.
Required Skills:
MS/Ph.D. preferred in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related fields with 5 or more years hands-on research in image or video understanding. Experience performing and leading original research in computer vision applications. Current knowledge of research literature with a history of publication in the field. In-depth understanding of the latest computer vision research. Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
This position requires an active United States security clearance or candidates must be eligible to receive a US clearance.
