Job Responsibilities:
APC by Schneider Electric is looking to fill the position of Configuration Engineer . The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing pre-sales Technical and Engineering support related to Schneider Electric Data Center and Facilities products.

The candidate will be responsible for the following:


• Develop, and / or review customer specification. Provide compliance document.


• Teleconference and Site technical escalation support for Sales, Partners, and End User Customers.


• Configure, Provide Documentation, and Develop quotes for Custom Products.


• Provide Configuration and Quotes for large and complex flow goods projects.


• Assembly and documentation of custom prototypes.


• Provide one line, electrical, and mechanical drawings when needed.


• Create Proposals and Submittal Documents. Requires ability to perform functions of Configuration Center Rep, Flow Goods Applications Engineer, Custom Engineering, and CAD/SolidWorks Technician.

Skill Set Requirements for the position:


• Minimum of 4 years of industry experience


• 4+ year degree required (BA, BS)


• Knowledge of Power, Cooling, and Management Applications.


• Familiarity with APC/MGE Products within the Schneider offerings.


• Understanding of APC Sales Tools: InfraStruXure Designer, MGE Fundamental Support Selection tools and Product Configurators. Type A Configurator, Rack Configurator. Custom Engineering Database.


• Customer facing/sales skills.


• Ability to provide training for sales and partners on Schneider products and applications.


• Understanding of Datacenter cooling practices.


• Presentation Skills. Solid Works, Vidio, and Auto Cad. Creation of Proposal and submittal Documents Flexibility and ability to adapt to changing job requirements.


• Ability to manage several projects and prioritize is essential.


• Very strong Customer Facing Skills.
