JOB DESCRIPTION: Configuration Manager
- A solid understanding of UNIX based operating systems; enterprise level Linux system administration skills, TCP/IP networking; System & Network performance tuning, troubleshooting & security.
- Ability to write programs in at least one of: Python, Perl, Java, JavaScript, shell. Provide code examples.
- Working Experience in MySQL, PostgreSQL or Oracle.
- Design version control strategy in Subversion that supports parallel development and multiple projects.
- At least three years of experience with implementing and managing Subversion control tools.
- In depth knowledge of software configuration management concepts such as branching files, merging branches, build and patch strategies, and support parallel development project teams.
- Ability to identify recurring tasks which require automation and automate them.
- BS/BE in Computer Science or equivalent work experience. Working experience with versions of either CollabNet TeamForge (CTF),CollabNet SourceForge Enterprise (CSFE), SourceForge Enterprise Edition (SFEE), or CollabNet Enterprise Edition (CEE).
