Job Summary: The Senior is responsible for leading and supporting multiple audit engagements and supervising and developing the firm’s less experienced Staff level auditors. While demonstrating a high level of technical competence in accounting, auditing and project management experience, the Audit Senior operates in a leadership capacity ensuring the coordination of the engagement workflow that includes planning, scheduling, staffing and learning for assigned engagements. Strong written and verbal communication skills and dedication to teamwork are key attributes for this role.

Role and Responsibilities: The Audit Senior will manage and direct multiple engagements involving audits, the rendering of business advisory services, project management, staff supervision, mentorship, training and development.

In supporting the directives of the audit engagements, the Audit Senior will:

1.      Develop and maintain strong working relationships with the Firm’s clients, Partners and staff.

2.      Provide guidance and expertise to audit team members and ensure audit procedures are followed.

3.      Collaborate to plan objectives and devise an audit strategy that appropriately addresses the risk.

4.      Identify and communicate relevant trends, developments and key performance drivers that will benefit the client and enhance the audit team.

5.      Consistently encourage the audit team members that will enhance service delivery.

6.      Keep abreast of accounting and industry changes to continually learn and share knowledge and information with team members that will enhance service delivery.

7.      Establish expectations that will achieve maximum value.

Minimum Qualifications: This role will provide the ideal candidate an excellent opportunity to exercise their current management and development skills with tremendous career growth potential. To qualify, all candidates must have:

1.      Bachelor’s degree or graduate degree in accounting from an accredited college or university and possess a CPA license.

2.      Minimum 4 years of recent work experience within a public accounting firm or other industries such as middle-market or asset management (including hedge and private equity funds), real state, employee benefits, government or not-for-profit organizations.

3.      Proven technical skills is MS Office- including Excel, Word and Lotus Notes.

4.      Solid organizational skills with demonstrated ability to multi-task.

5.      Advanced written and verbal communication skills.

6.      Strong dedication to teamwork.

7.      Possess a high level of integrity
