Young Equipment Sales (YES) specializes in the sale and service of interior equipment and furnishings like lockers, bathroom partition, gym equipment and bleachers, casework and auditorium seating.  This is our 32^nd successful year of service to schools, healthcare facilities, hospitality venues, business entities and government municipalities. 

This available position is for an estimator/assistant for the Construction Division which deals primarily with Architects, Construction Managers and General Contractors.  This is your invitation to come off the bench and be an integral part of the success of our Construction Division.

Follow Existing Systems While Suggesting Process Improvements

Specifically:

Break Apart a Set of Construction Drawings and Specifications to Isolate the Sections We are Interested In

Decipher and Summarize Important Project Details from Specification Book

Send/Receive Q and A Information to and from Architect/CM/GC

Interact with Product Specialists to Accurately Gather Pricing Information

Type Quote Details to Ensure Project Qualifications are Established

Constantly Update Construction WhiteBoards/Excel Spreadsheet on Project Status, Bidders, Phase, Close Out

Collect and Organize Shop Drawings and Submittals for Architect Approval

Maintain all Correspondence (written, phone, email, etc.) in Project Binders

Help to Maintain a Neat, Organized Plan Room 

Have Your Head in the Game – Understand a Project in Complete Detail from Start to Finish and All Parts Inbetween

Technical Qualifications:
Must have a valid Driver's License.  College degree preferred.  Construction background or experience will help us make you successful much quicker.  Extensive experience with MS Office programs is necessary.
