CONSTRUCTION MANAGER POSITION AVAILABLE:

Hackman Capital Partners seeks a Construction Manager with proven experience in a Commercial Real Estate organization.   The ideal candidate should have 7 - 10 years experience providing project leadership and management oversight for all phases of a construction project. This includes coordinating scope definition, cost estimation, work completion, schedules and budget.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

  Interfaces with internal and external audiences to define project requirements. Establishes project work plan and deadlines for completion of project following a logical pattern for utilization of resources.
  
  
• 
  
  Reviews architectural and engineering drawings and drives consensus on final plans and scope.
  
  
• 
  
  Evaluates project pricing, creates and maintains budget.
  
  
• 
  
  Coordinates subcontractors working on various phases of the project.
  
  
• 
  
  Creates and manages construction schedule and associated costs to achieve completion of project within time and monies allocated.
  
  
• 
  
  Conducts regular job specific meetings with owners, tenants, architects, engineers, property management, etc.  
  
  
• 
  
  Reports to owners and architects about progress and any necessary modifications of plans that seem indicated.
  
  
• 
  
  Coordinates multiple projects at various stages of completion to successful outcomes.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 
  
  College degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or equivalent commercial construction experience.
  
  
• 
  
  Seven to Ten years or more of experience assisting or supervising construction projects of increasing complexity.
  
  
• 
  
  Commercial experience is required, Industrial strongly preferred.
  
  
• 
  
  Ability to read and understand architectural drawings.
  
  
• 
  
  Knowledge of leases, contracts, and construction practices.
