- Managing multiple crews performing asphalt paving on DOT, county/city and private projects; Project profitability, schedule, and quality;
- Leading the bidding process;
- Resource coordination: equipment, labor, supplies and subcontractors;
- Progress and final reporting on project performance vs. bid.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or similar, required.
- 8+ years experience of hands on field experience including DOT base and pave operations, required.
- Prior P & L responsibility.
- Experience managing multiple crews.
- Power user of HardDollar or HCSS estimating software, required.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite and Primavera or similar.
- A strong knowledge of DOT contracts, site design and building to bid.
- Some travel is required.
