Job Purpose:
Completes construction projects by planning, organizing, and controlling projects; completing quality inspections; supervising trade partners.  Ensures that end project meets state and local codes and the bulding is constructed to specification and within budget

Duties:
* Manages trade partners by locating, evaluating, and selecting sub-contractors; monitoring and controlling performance, deliver product specifications, communicates job expectations.

* Inspect all properties daily to ensure construction is meeting standard building codes and client specifications and that materials are those ordered for the project.

* Meets operational standards by contributing construction information, directs pre-construction meeting with clients to review final plans and specifications and secure signatures to begin project ; implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards and conducts final walk through to create punch list and correct deficiencies before closing; resolving problems; warranty contact person.

* Meets construction budget by monitoring project expenditures; identifying variances; implementing corrective actions; return excess construction material.

* Accomplishes construction project results by defining project purpose and scope; calculating resources required; establishing standards and protocols; allocating resources; scheduling and coordinating trade partners;  resolving design problems; evaluating and implementing change orders.

* Approves construction projects by conducting inspections at critical phases.

* Prevents fines and interruptions by complying with, and enforcing, codes.

* Maintains safe, clean, secure, and healthy work environment by following and enforcing standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations.

* Updates job knowledge by tracking and understanding emerging construction practices and standards; participating in educational opportunities.

* Enhances organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests by working effectively with all departments i.e. sales, estimating, accounts payable; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.

Skills/Qualifications:
Miminum 3 yrs experience as on-site construction supervisor, General construction experience to include framing, drywall, painting, electrical, wiring, and knowledge of plumbing,  General knowledge of local building codes,  Attention to Detail, Quality Focus, Project Management, Excellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skills.
