Paul Davis Restoration & Remodeling of Greater Columbia, a local General Contractor and Insurance Restoration contractor, is looking for a highly qualified, organized individual to fill the position of Job Supervisor.  This person must represent our company professionally and with honesty and integrity.

TASK

DESCRIPTION: JOB SUPERVISOR

 

 

 

 

 

REPORTS TO:

 

Owner/General Manager/Division Manager

 

 

 

 

 

 

SUPERVISES:

 

Tradespeople, Subcontractors

 

 

 

 

 

 

BASIC FUNCTIONS:

 

Schedule and supervise all projects assigned to successful completion

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

RESPONSIBILITIES/TASKS:

 

 

1. Professionally represent the PDR principles of honesty and integrity.

2. Interface with Estimating/Sales personnel in the preparation of work orders on all new

projects.

3. Maintain constant communication with property owner.

2. Schedule the completed work order to include: pre-construction on-site meeting when

appropriate, sequencing, timing, master scheduling, and trades assignments.

3. Start job in a timely manner.

5. Secure necessary permits.

6. Schedule inspections.

7. Administer work orders or schedule employee assignments.

8. Inspect all assigned projects for progress.

9. Maintain documentation on personal inspections and project flow.

10. Maintain professionalism with project conditions: (i.e.: workmanship, homeowner

relationships, safety, cleanliness, and tradespeople conduct).

11. Manage job to speedy conclusion

12. Interface with associate and CSR regarding project progress, completion, and conditions.

13. Professionally handle any and all complaints.

14. Manage punch list completion, obtain completion certificate, and collect funds if available.

15. Deliver job file to associate for closing.

16. Work with Estimator to collect payment on closed jobs in a timely fashion.

17. Work after hours as needed.  After hours and weekend on call rotation for emergencies is a job requirement.

 

 

 

 

 SPECIAL SKILLS/ADDITONAL REQUIREMENTS:

 

  • IICRC certification in water damage restoration is a plus - Basic and Appled Structural Drying.  Will be required to take course and pass test to meet company standards.
  • IICRC certification in fire and smoke damage restoration is a plus.  Will be required to take course and pass test to meet company standards.
  • Good driving record is mandatory.
  • Background checks-state and national-required.
