About the Job
Construction Superintendent
Waltham area based construction manager seeking a Construction Superintendent for projects located in Central and Western Massachusetts. Candidates should be able to work within a fast paced construction environment.
Responsibilities consist of all on site supervisory functions including:
- Responsible for oversight of all of field operations on a project
- Responsible for coordinating, directing and supervising the work and efforts of subcontractors and direct labor on the project
- Ensure that the requirements of the project are met with respect to safety, schedule, quality control and cost control
- Develop and maintain the site logistics plan
- Develop, update, and maintain the overall project schedule
- Conduct weekly foremans and safety meetings
- Attend weekly owners meetings
Ideal candidate should possess a BS degree (civil engineering preferred) with 5 to 10 years of construction industry experience. Exceptional communication, organizational and computer skills are a must.
