The Opportunity
myPay Solutions is a new and growing business segment Thomson Reuters has recently entered utilizing our own leading edge technology to uniquely serve the marketplace, specifically our own client base of tax and accounting professionals. Due to Thomson Reuters' leadership position in the professional market, the role of the myPay Solutions Account Representative is unique in that you will not only be securing strategic payroll partnerships with our tax and accounting firms throughout the country, but complete the relationship by presenting and selling our new payroll processing service to their clients and prospects.

Principal Accountabilities
- Sell Thomson Reuters myPay Solutions Payroll Processing Service
- Meet or exceed assigned quota. Quota is based upon revenue targets for sales of Payroll Processing Services to new and existing customers and prospects
- Meet or exceed assigned quota of a minimum of 25 calls per day while consistently maintaining Sales databases with all call and profile activity
- Manage call lists
- Successfully serve our customers and prospects, striving to create a "customer for life".
- Prospecting for potential new Tax & Accounting customers through proactive outbound phone calling of sales
- Maintain open and frequent communications with sales management regarding sales goals, daily/weekly activities, performance to established sales goals and customer interaction
- Occasional trade show, seminar, or conference participation
- Present the features and benefits of our products to potential and existing customers at company held seminars as required.
Secondary Accountabilities
- Continual Development of Consultative Sales Skills & Product Knowledge
- Attend and participate in sales meetings, product instruction and sales process training.
- Continue to learn and understand specific MyPay offerings.
- Know how they are used in the accounting profession, to the degree in which you can assess the applicability of the offerings to our prospects.
- Achieve a strong competency in all internal sales databases, tools and processes
- Previous experience selling payroll products and services a plus
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas
- College graduate or equivalent-business or accounting degree preferred
- An understanding of what it means to succeed
- Demonstrated ability to develop new account prospects and clients through networking, referrals, cold calling and account development over the phone
- Ability to work within a compensation package heavily based upon commissions
- Positive attitude and demonstrated ability to deal with rejection
- Strong oral and written communication skills along with excellent listening skills
- Demonstrated ability to develop rapport, influence others and maintain strong working relationships
- Organized work habits: demonstrating consistency, effort and effectiveness
- Proficiency with MS Office software; experience with Sales Automation, Customer Relationship Management or web based software programs.
- Ability to gather, keep up-to-date and apply competitive information in the sales process
- Demonstrate the ability to explain complex and technical issues clearly
- Receptive to feedback and constructive criticism
- Self-motivated, independent, and persistent
