Job Description:
Consumer bankruptcy law firm has an immediate opening for an experienced attorney. Prior bankruptcy experience is a must. Travel, as well as some Saturdays are required. A successful candidate should also have experience working in fast-paced work environments, be detail-oriented, have excellent communication skills, and a true desire to help people who are in financial distress. The firm specializes in chapter 7 and 13 bankruptcy filings. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of managing a high volume of casework, completing legal work thoroughly and expeditiously, and assisting clients from diverse backgrounds.
Specifications:
Attorney's are expected to work a full work day including 8:30-6:30 Monday through Friday and 3 Saturdays per month.
Knowledge of Windows software.
Salary:
Performance-driven company with a competitive salary that includes a base plus bonus package along with 401k and insurance.
Qualifications:
Requirements:
• A JD from an accredited school and admission from the Washington bar are required. A Federal license and ECF certification are preferred but not required.
• 2-5 years of experience in bankruptcy law or similar legal experience.
• A business sensibility including an interest in developing a network of clients.
• A strong work ethic and a desire to meet with and communicate with clients both face-to-face and over the phone.
• Attention to detail.
