The primary responsibilities include: Ensure the monitoring of collection performance to determine consistent and timely follow-up is maintained on assigned delinquent consumer loan queues and delinquent credit card queues. Develop, implement and administer collection strategies and maintain open line of communication with other departments to reduce losses on fraud loans, credit card fraud charges and NSF checks. Direct and train staff on extension agreements, rewrites, and Consumer Credit Counseling applications submitted via the Credit Counselors, assist when needed. The successful candidate must possess education equivalent to 2 years of college or an Associate's Degree in the area of Banking or Finance. The candidate must also possess a minimum of five years of similar or related experience and in depth knowledge of collection, repossession and bankruptcy laws.
