Continuous Improvement Engineer
About the Job
Bachelors Degree in Engineering or related field with 5 years experience in a lean manufacturing environment with a minimum of 2 years hands on Kaizen leadership experience. Knowledge of and experience in one or more problem solving techniques (Six Sigma, Shainin, Variation Reduction, etc) or other Continuous Improvement System required which will improve business performance and supporting corporate goals. Experience with leading and/or facilitating lean manufacturing Kaizen events is required, Six Sigma projects preferred. Will support the manufacturing operations by applying lean principles and Kaizen to drive sustained continuous improvement results across a diverse range of manufacturing and processes. Lean experience would include an understanding of tools such as 5S, Creating Standard Work, Flow Design, Value Stream Mapping and Cause and Effect.
