The Continuous Improvement Manager work at our Harrisburg, PA Logistics Center and take responsibility for of leading and championing organizational change programs through employee engagement required.
POSITION DUTIES:
Lead Supply Services management in the development of a continuous improvement strategy that will deliver consistent and sustained savings and quality improvements.
- Promote Lean-Six Sigma (LSS) concept in the Supply Services organization.
- Propose LSS project opportunities in line with Supply Services goals
- Provide information to Management to facilitate precise project goal setting
- Manage LSS Projects as defined by Supply Services Management
- Define scope and precise goals, and project timeline
- Define and manage resources
- Manage project teams to drive the project to successful completion
- Provide feedback to Project Sponsors and Senior Management throughout projects
- Define follow-ups upon completion of the project
- Facilitate formal sign-off to process owners
- Propose and lead Kaizen events
- Use LSS techniques to help the operational teams achieve objectives in cost, quality, and safety.
- Collaborate with Logistics leadership to build a culture of continuous improvement in all areas.
- Lead teams in the mapping of current business processes.
- Lead efforts to measure and report upon the results of all continuous improvement initiatives.
- Develop methods to insure clear communication of these results at all levels of the business.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must have a BS degree qualified in an applicable engineering curriculum.
- Must have 3-5 years of professional experience that includes:
Black Belt training / Certificate
Sound knowledge of Lean Six Sigma Concepts
Practical knowledge of Supply operations
- Proven ability to manage multi-functional teams
- Strong teamwork and influencing skills
- Knowledge of products and processes in the areas of GMP's, regulatory requirements
- Demonstrated level of proven experience implementing 5S, Lean, Value Stream Mapping and Six Sigma methodologies.
- Proven track record of leading and championing organizational change programs through employee engagement required.
