The Continuous Improvement/Quality Manager will be responsible for directing all quality functions and driving continuous improvement projects as well as providing technical guidance to the department.
Responsibilities:
*Provide strategic direction for all quality functions, including leading staff through the coaching session monitoring and auditing processes, coordinating and implementing quality initiatives that will facilitate compliance with all internal standards.
*Direct and coordinate continuous improvement projects including cost saving programs, calibration, ISO 9000, customer investigations, etc.
*Design and implement quality control and quality assurance training programs in order to grow and develop the quality team.
*Provide coaching and training to process improvement teams in the use of continuous improvement tools and methodologies.
*Implement and manage quality systems in compliance with ISO 9000 guidelines.
*Apply Total Quality Management Tools and approaches to reporting processes throughout the product lifecycle.
*Develop and maintain reporting mechanisms to allow tracking and trending of initiatives and monitoring of progress of improvement actions.
Requirements:
*A Bachelor’s Degree is required; ideally in Engineering, Operations or Quality
*Must have a MINIMUM of 10+ years in a Quality leadership position
*Prior experience in the electronics, test & measurement or semi-conductor industries required
*Proven track record of business performance improvement
*5+ years of Quality Tools & quality systems implementations experience
*A strategic thinker with strong problem solving, project management & facilitation skills
*Strong interpersonal & communication skills to collaborate effectively and build team consensus and influence others.
*Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects
