Job Description
Are you looking to put your mechanical knowledge to good use, and get paid for doing so? This is an excellent opportunity! A Production Management company in the Greenville area is looking to add 6- to 8 2nd shift conveyor assemblers to their team for a 6 to 8 month contract.
Key responsibilities include: mechanical assembly of conveyor equipment using general fasteners (nuts, bolts, etc.). Parts include 7ga-10ga steel frames, plastic, rubber, wood, and other metal components. Mechanical assembly of material handling devices using general fasteners, general crating of equipment, as well as shop clean up.
Job Requirements
Must have HS Diploma, 2-5 years in mechanical assembly- assembling of conveyor equipment or material handling equipment HIGHLY PREFERRED, general math skills, ability to work with hand tools (wrenches, air tools, etc.). Ability to work with power tools (chop saws, grinders, etc), ability to use a tape measure, to work under deadlines, to lift 50+ lbs, and the ability to take pride in their workmanship and put out quality product.
