Would you like to become part of the team that includes the creative visionaries behind Drizzt Do’Urden and Spawn? 38 Studios LLC is currently seeking a Payroll/Accounting Associate to join our Finance Department at our Maynard, Massachusetts corporate office. Compensation for this position is competitive within the market; final determination will be based on the experience level, knowledge, and skills of the qualified candidate.

Position Responsibilities

• Contribute to the process of setting up expense accounting systems, purchase order systems, asset tracking, filing systems and other general accounting requirements.
  
• Process payroll for 100+ employees for our Maynard and Baltimore locations.
  
• Prepare and process corporate and studio-specific expense reports.
  
• Prepare and process accounts payable, including reconciliation of payments, monitoring vendor payments, resolving invoice discrepancies, and producing monthly reports.

Knowledge, Skills & Ability Requirements

• Knowledge: Proficiency in data-entry and management. Strong Excel, Quickbooks, accounting and payroll process knowledge. Knowledge of Preview is a plus.
  
• Competencies: Ability to handle confidential information with the highest integrity. Must be a team player. Excellent organization and communication skills. Must be able to integrate quickly into the current accounting/payroll practices. Attention to detail is imperative.
  
• Experience: Minimum of one year of bookkeeping/payroll experience is required.
