Your job is to sell advertising in your city to those businesses that parents will contact for their parenting and family needs. Parents depend on us for advertisers which provide healthcare for families, sporting and recreational institutions and equipment, educational services for tutoring and testing, private schools, camps, financial and college planning. With our coverage of multiple cities, there is also opportunity for those of you who presently network nationally to broker multiple city and national sales accounts.


 


This is a very entrepreneurial environment, bright, fast-paced individuals who possess all qualities of leadership: self-starter; goal-driven closers who stay focused on success. Individuals must have an understanding of strategic planning to create a regional advertising client base as a contractor for our company. You will be in constant contact with potential advertisers, are culturing new clients by performing in-depth interviews including thorough needs analysis while maintaining quality relationships with advertisers you have sold. Work to direct ad campaigns through ad designers.


 


Required Skills and Day-to-Day Activities


·         Consistently increase revenue using various tools and methods including cold calling, prospecting, and other sales resources to close business.​ Advertisers are spending money promoting their companies and schools in your city so why not buy from you?


·         Reliably forecast business on a monthly and quarterly basis to accurately predict revenue goals.​


·         Remarketing existing clients while bringing in new clients with sales promotions/new advertising products


·         Learn the key features and benefits of Parent domain advertising products/promotions to determine the appropriate product for best results in a particular market.​


·         Maintain high tempo of sales activity to statistically ensure closings.


·         Meticulously maintain and document the entire the sales cycle from first contact through close.


·         100%​ Call and contact logging to effectively manage and maintain Account, Prospect, and Opportunity contacts.​  The setting of properly coded tasks and events to identify proper method and strategy for follow-up, next steps, lead tracking, and pipeline development efforts are required as is the ability to accurately and consistently forecast revenue and quota attainment.​


·         Ability to properly identify and propose the appropriate technological/software solution according to the Customers requirements.​


 


 Soft Skills, Interpersonal Qualities and Reference Requirements


·         Bachelor's degree or equivalent preferred


·         5 years experience in sales, preferably on-line advertising or product sales.​


·         Must exhibit proven relationship building skills and customer focus.​


·         Proven track record of exceeding quota and business goals.​


·         Quick learner with demonstrated sales ability.​


·         Have you served as a leader of projects or promotions for your company? What sales projects have you overseen from inception to completion? How have you        increased profit while saving costs of a project?


·         Self starter with the ability to multi-task and manage time effectively


·         High-energy individuals who enjoy selling in a fast paced, high growth company environment need only apply.​


·          3-5 business references minimum.
