Position Title: Contract Specialist

Salary & Benefits::

Salary Range:   $70,000-$90,000

Reports To: Manager, FAA Program Management

Duty Assignment: Washington, DC

Position Description: Provide support to the FAA Data Communications Business Management Lead in the area of contract support. Responsible for developing requirements and Statements of Work to support programmatic contract support needs.  Responsible for maintaining Data Communications invoice database, generating invoice reports and validating contractor invoices against monthly status reports.  Responsible for development/tracking of all aspects of program related contracts to include CDRLs, task orders, contract modifications, etc.

Position Requirements: 6 years experience with 2 of those years being direct related experience. Minimum of 2 years prior FAA contract support experience required for this position. Experience must demonstrate the ability to successfully manage all aspects of contract administration.  Experience must also reflect knowledge and competence in the management of initiatives that involved organizationally and geographically dispersed elements. Demonstrated proficiency with MS Office 2003/2007. Bachelors Degree from an accredited university required.  Prior experience as a COTR highly desired.
