Contract Support Coordinator
The Contract Support Coordinator is responsible for coordinating the day-to-day activities of the Credentialing Providers. Those providers must meet established credentialing criteria to assure adequate coverage for AEC network providers. The Contract Support Coordinator will work closely with the Director of Provider Relations on matters pertaining recruitment, network growth and compliance. Prepares and evaluates reports regarding the provider network. Position is responsible for research, analysis and support of contracts for Plan programs. Assist potential providers and/or community with inquiries about Long Term Diversion Program services.
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for reviewing and assisting with contract and credentialing documents.
- Maintenance of provider databases such as home health, PR Website and “Q”
- Tracking overall satisfaction of existing contracted providers through complaint and renewal process.
- Participating in meetings, conference calls and presentations in a manner that is respectful and professional.
- Assist with other Plan programs as assigned.
CHARACTERISTIC FUNCTIONS
- Responsible for reviewing and managing incoming inquires from branches offices regarding new contracts and status on pending contracts.
- Ensures all aspects of the application are current, accurate, and meet credentialing compliance with regulatory agencies guidelines.
- Facilitate the resolution of credentialing issues and coordinate with branch offices regarding termination notification.
- Respond to all written and telephone inquiries.
- Ability to multi-task, shifting back and forth effectively between two or more activities or sources of information.
- Return signed contract with Welcome Packet to newly contracted providers.
- Work closely with branch offices to prepares, evaluate and maintain a formal process to regularly document and report contract activities, compliance and issues with contracted providers.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with subcontractors.
- Communicate regularly with the Director of Provider Relations and other management staff and support staff as needed to review contracts.
- Ensure contract files are maintained according to Plan standards.
- Review reports, contract documents and other records for clarity, completeness, accuracy, and conformance with company policies. Routes approved reports and records to Director of Provider Relations for review.
- Able to communicate, collaborate and interact effectively within the team, AEC management, across departments, as well as representatives of providers.
JOB KNOWLEDGE
- Working knowledge of Microsoft office programs in an office environment and good typing skills.
- Good problem solving skills.
- Familiar with contracts or credentialing preferred.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma preferred.
- Experience working in Home Health, Provider Relations, Credentialing preferred.
- Must possess strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Excellent interpersonal skills are a must.
- Organizational skills are required with the ability to multi-task.
