Big-company reach, small-company attitude! AAI Corporation, an operating unit of Textron Systems, is currently has multiple openings for contract Test Development Engineers. This is position is due to last 6 months and will be responsible for development of test definition, test plan and procedure development and equipment design specifications for commercial aircraft electrical and mechanical test systems.  Activities include: creating detailed Test Plans and accompanying test procedures; rapid response and problem resolution for aircraft production test issues, performing change impact assessments as required and defining Test Equipment requirements.

Required Skills

• Provide troubleshoot and failure analysis support for customer production test
• Comply technically with contract-dictated Statement of Work, policies, directives, regulations, and documentation.
• Prepare and submit program and customer required reports.

Required Experience

• Bachelor's degree required; Master’s degree a plus.
• Direct experience with the design, integration and test of complex electrical or mechanical test systems for aircraft production and test
• Broad technical expertise in the design/development and test of electronic systems
• Airframe and Powerplant license is a plus
• Experience with any of the items listed below would be a plus:
  • Commercial Airframe production test development and integration
  • IVT - CATIA Viewer
  • CATIA V5
  • MAPPER
  • Access databases
  • ENOVIA
