As a critical member of the team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth of Honeywell commercial HVAC control products through Honeywell distributors while working directly with contractor customers.
Our extensive line of controls includes building automation, field devices, pneumatics, digital thermostats, water products, DDC control systems and burner/boiler controllers. Honeywell International is a $31-billion diversified technology and manufacturing global leader.
Primary duties and responsibilities as follows:
- Create and execute annual sales plan for the territory leveraging internal Honeywell resources to maximize sales growth.
- Contractor Account Management - 60% of time
- Distributor support with other sales reps. - 40% of time
- Includes hosting contractor events at distributor locations
- Hosting open houses to showcase Honeywell products to contractors
- Responsible for maintaining current business and managing growth created by contractor conversions
- Responsible for training contractors and distributor on product value and logistics-related programs
- Responsible for making 3-4 contractor calls per day
- Relationship building skills are critical to this role
- Consultant Engineer Sales Calls.
- End User Sales Calls.
Basic Qualifications:
+ Bachelor's degree.
+ Minimum of 3 years of direct sales experience.
+ Minimum of 3 years of HVAC experience.
Additional Qualifications:
+ Outside/external customer sales experience (working with new and existing accounts).
+ Demonstrated experience in creating and executing successful client relationships and territory plans.
+ Commercial HVAC experience is preferred.
+ Influencing and negotiation skills.
+ Ability to work collaboratively in a matrix- team environment.
+ A diplomatic approach to conflict resolution.
+ Excellent oral and written communication skills.
+ Computer literate.
