Contracts Administrator – 10684 FSD
Position Summary
Parker as an exciting opportunity for a Sr. Contracts Administrator to work in our Irvine, CA facility! This position administrates complex contracts with both national and international customers. Duties will include but not be limited to: Administers contracts for complex products and systems to ensure fulfillment of contractual fiscal and performance obligations. Defines requirements, generates proposals, monitors performance, negotiates pricing and terms, and ensures compliance with contract requirements. May determine customer requirements for new products and/or systems (e.g. proposals that include engineering design and system hardware) and other specialized assignments.
Responsibilities
- Participate in the negotiation of complex contracts. Support the proposal process including contract review and support of pricing effort.
- Provide contractual and business interpretation and advice on contractual matters to program managers and business team leader.
- Day to day maintenance of customer purchases orders. Negotiate internally to satisfy customer needs and expectations. Maintain the highest levels of customer satisfaction through day to day contact with key customers.
- Manage projects within the business team. Collaborate to identify, plan and lead improvement activities and projects.

Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree (BA) in Business Administration or an equivalent combination of education and experience which has provided both theoretical and practical knowledge in the field.
- Demonstrated ability to perform the essential functions of the job typically acquired through two or more years of related experience.
- Strong negotiation skills. Ability to interpret contract terms and conditions and formulate strategy.
- Strong financial analysis skills. Ability to understand revenue models, income statements and financial reports. Experience with building and executing forecasting models.
- Experience driving standard practices and process improvements. Ability to manage projects to accomplish objectives.
- Ability to administer the terms of complex contracts across multiple customers. Experience in Export Administration Regulations (EAR) and International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) helpful.
- Experienced with MS Office (Word and Excel in particular) and MS Project. Familiarity with advanced functions of Excel like pivot tables.
