Global Industries provides offshore construction, engineering and support services including pipeline, platform installation and removal, and diving services to the oil and gas industry in the Gulf of Mexico, West Africa, Asia Pacific, Middle East/India, South America, and Mexico's Bay of Campeche.

Duties for this role include:
- Establish and maintain a subcontracting organization in respect of designated project services.
- Interfaces with the Operations, Purchasing and Worldwide Estimating Departments in identifying suitable subcontractors to be used in respect of designated subcontracts for the various pending and potential projects.
- Collaborates with Operations, negotiates the final prices, terms and conditions of designated subcontracts within the budgeted bid estimate for awarded contracts.
- Collaborates with and provides support to Project Managers in overseeing the management and administration of designated subcontracts.
- Works with the Legal Department to insure that all designated subcontracts are negotiated and maintained consistent with Company policies and procedures, principals of efficient subcontract management, and with all U.S. laws regarding foreign trade practices.
- Provides reasonable assurance regarding the Company’s system of internal controls over designated subcontracts.
- Performs other related duties and assignments as required.
Subcontracts Manager
- We are seeking candidates that have earned a Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent is required.
- Minimum of 7 to 10 years Contracts Management and/or Project Management or other commercial contract negotiation experience.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Knowledge of terms and conditions of contracts. Excellent dispute resolution and negotiation skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Competency in negotiation of complex contractual dispute negotiation.
- Ability to complete multi-task assignments.
- Excellent analytical skills.
- Ability to work effectively without supervision but also in a team environment.
- Knowledge of U.S. regulations regarding foreign trade practices.
