The C4IT Business Unit is currently looking for a Contracts Representative to join our team.



JOB DESCRIPTION: Candidate will provide contract administration support for various CP, FFP, T&M, and/or commercial contracts. He/She will prepare moderately complex proposals. Duties will include the coordination and preparation of cost proposals, task order pricing, as well as the review and negotiation of applicable terms and conditions. Candidate will be responsible for overall contract compliance of assigned tasks in accordance with contract requirements, company policy and procedures, and applicable laws. Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following: generation and maintenance of contract correspondence; interfacing with SAIC | EMA Program Managers, Project Control, Government personnel, and subcontractors; and setting up and maintenance of tasks in SAIC | EMA's CostPoint accounting system.



REQUIRED EDUCATION/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE: Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a business-related field and two (2) years of applicable experience in contract administration in a DoD environment are required. High school diploma or GED and six (6) years of experience may be substituted in lieu of the degree requirement. Progressive experience in the private industry in a services-oriented environment, with demonstrated skills in negotiation of terms and conditions, analysis of complex contracting issues, and pricing are preferred. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Microsoft Excel and Word are essential. Candidate must have demonstrated working knowledge of FAR and DFARS, and possess excellent written and verbal communication skills. Candidate must be self-motivated while working in a dynamic, multi-tasked team environment, often under the pressure of deadlines. Responsiveness, flexibility, and attention to detail are a must. Candidate must possess an attitude of leadership and professionalism, and high ethical standards.
