Volt Workforce Solutions is currently seeking an experienced Contracts Specialist whose primary responsibility includes the development of subcontracts. This person should have experience developing Procurement Policy while following related Contract Administration Processes efficiently and consistently.

Position Overview/Summary:

The Contracts Specialist will prepare Subcontract Agreements, as well as associated Task Orders, Statements of Work and other relevant documents.

Additionally, the Contracts Specialist will be working on a team, while having individual responsibilities.

This is a Contract to Direct Hire position, through Volt Workforce Solutions - a division of a Fortune 1000 publicly traded Staffing Industry Leader, based in Blue Bell, PA. We are among the largest IT staffing companies in the US for contract/temporary and direct hire placements and support most of the top rated IT companies on the East Coast.



Requirements:

Required Skills for this Contracts Specialist position include the following:


  • 1-3 years of experience working with Procurement programs with local and/or Federal Government, or in subcontracting role to Federal Government
  • 10-15 years of experience working in commercial environments
  • Proficient in MS Office especially Excel, Word, Access
  • Graduation from an accredited college or university with a degree in a Business discipline
  • Good understanding of the technical aspects of Competitive Bidding
  • Strong IT skills
  • Good communication skills, both written and oral
  • Flexible and enthusiastic attitude
  • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously


Bonus Skills/Knowledge (Nice to Have):


  • Knowledge of general Corporate Governance
  • Knowledge of preparation of standard procurement documents including contracts
  • Tracking/Project Management software skill/knowledge
  • Knowledge of Federal Procurement an advantage
