Controller/Accounting and Finance Consultant

AccountAbilities is seeking professionals for its boutique consulting practice with previous experience as a Controller.  In your role as an AccountAbilities consulting Controller you will play an instrumental role in guiding our clients through challenging projects and essential accounting functions, including audits, financial statement preparation, systems initiatives, internal controls development and more.

Our professionals are the heart of our company and we strive to select the best in each field of client service.  Successful professionals for this position will possess the following qualifications:

• An outstanding ability and desire for client service


• A desire for project based work


• 10-15 years experience as a Controller or Senior Accounting Manager in a large corporation. 


• Previous experience in one of the Top 5 or large regional public accounting firms


• Recent experience drafting financial statements, handling technical accounting issues and implementing systems changes


• Experience working with middle market ERP or accounting software packages


• A CPA license is preferred


• SEC experience is a plus (e.g., 10K’s and 10Q’s)


• 4 year degree
