We are a mid sized international electronic component manufacturer, looking for a motivated and articulate accounting professional. The position is based in Guadalajara, Mexico . Responsibilities will include continuous improvement of our cost accounting and financial reporting systems. Will be responsible for preparation and analysis of our monthly financial reporting package for both internal review as well as for submission to Corporate in USA. Will be part of management team and report directly to Mexican GM. Supervise a staff of two. Supervise all accounting transactions including AR, AP, Payroll etc. Responsible for all tax reports and filings. Credit and collections. Disbursements.

Must be an accounting graduate (top 25% of class) and have a minimum five years of combined manufacturing and / or public accounting experience. Must be a self starter; multi-tasker and proficient in excel, word, and in ERP packages. Must be organized, and willing to work hard. Must understand job costing systems. Must be a problem solver - imaginative and think out of the box. Must be an excellent communicator and be fluent in both English and Spanish. Working in a team environment is a must. This high visibility position reports directly to the Mexican GM as well as Group CFO. Salary will be Peso based and paid out of Mexico, to be competitive with the local market.Please include salary history and expectations.
