Our client is seeking a motivated, ambitious, and polished individual to join their team, located just outside of Boston, as the Controller, Accounting/Systems.  This role is primarily responsible for all accounting and financial reporting applications and data; supervising staff; preparing internal reporting for presentation to senior management; contributing to key accounting functions, including SOX 404 compliance; communicating with accounting, IT and asset management departments and acting as a liaison and knowledgeable resource to these teams; and maintaining and upgrading systems and providing user training as needed.  Additionally, you will integrate departmental databases into an enterprise database and developing a front-end; enhance the operational budgeting system; source, develop and implement company wide financial and operational reporting systems; and contribute to special projects as needed.  The qualified Controller, Accounting/Systems must have a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; CPA with 2+ years of experience with 5-8 years of experience in a private industry with exposure to IT, superior communication, presentation and leadership skills; and must consistently demonstrate an exceptionally motivated and proactive work ethic.  Salary will be commensurate with experience.  Our client offers bonus and stock grants based upon performance.  Interested and qualified candidates, please submit your resume, with reference to job code: F34693RHC, to rchase@beaconhillsg.com .
