About the Job

Energetic Controller needed for Innovative Facility Solutions and Accommodations Company located in Austell, GA.  The Company specializes in leasing temporary structures and equipment to provide facility solutions for premium events, emergency response and extended term facilities.  Applicant must have a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, minimum of 5 years of previous Controller experience, Peachtree accounting software experience, strong background in construction accounting, and a thorough knowledge of accounting practices and procedures, including leasing transactions.  Candidate must be able to be complete the day-to-day operations of the company including but not limited to:


Accounts Receivable:  Prepare monthly invoicing/applications for payment; record information relative to payments and A/R reports; monitor delinquent accounts


Accounts Payable:  Prepare vendor and subcontractor invoices/payments, 1099’s, and expense reports; maintain accounting files; print & process checks; monitor outstanding accounts


Financial Reporting and Cash Management:  Maintain general ledger and prepare journal entries; prepare monthly financial statements for all companies; prepare contract schedules and management reports; monitor compliance with governing agencies; prepare cash projections and bank reconciliations; manage foreign currency accounts; allocate job costs; complete month end closing; coordinate the preparation of and updates to the Company budget


Payroll:  Review/verify timecards; input payroll through payroll service and data in accounting software; reconcile payroll; prepare workers comp. reports, labor cost reports; allocate labor costs to the associated jobs


Human Resource/Office Administration:  Assist with risk management; oversee management of administrative/accounting personnel; supervise MIS; develop and maintain policies & procedures manual; maintain fixed assets listing; maintain & update personnel records; assist with development and update of employee handbook; assist with development of safety program; assist with administration of employee benefit program


Intercompany:  Prepare inter-company billings and payments including job costs allocations; reconcile inter-company accounts monthly
