MHI Ship Repair & Services is a major marine repair and conversion contractor serving the U.S. Navy, Military Sealift Command, Maritime Administration and Commercial ship owners and operators worldwide.

MHI is seeking a Corporate Controller to partner with the CFO to build, develop and execute financial and accounting strategies to meet current and future business needs. Ideal candidate will have a job costing background with previous experience in a government contracting environment. Position requires advanced computer skills, including Excel, report writers, and financial accounting software. Microsoft Dynamics GP experience a plus. Must be a self-starter with excellent interpersonal skills and ability to manage and motivate others. A customer oriented attitude is essential. Job responsibilities will require strong accounting knowledge, including fixed assets, taxes, and financial reporting. Other requirements include Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance, and at least five years of progressive experience. CPA preferred but not required. Government contractor experience strongly preferred.
