DESCRIPTION:   This Company is a dynamic supplier to the construction industry. The primary products are wood components. The company is stable with multiple plant sites.   This company is a leading edge high tech manufacturing organization with growth potential in to many new areas.  They are seeking a key team player that will guide decision making through strong accurate leadership of accounting functions including daily balance sheet analysis, inventory analysis, cost accounting, monthly close and general accounting duties and management of staff.

RESPONSIBILITIES:    The primary responsibility will be leadership and supervision of plant accounting activities including financial analysis, tracking and reporting of operations, projects, accounts payable and assets. Your group will have reporting responsibilities for end of month reports. The ideal candidate will exhibit good judgement, strong decision making capability and professionalism.

 

REQUIREMENTS:  The company requires a minimum four-year BS degree with Accounting major (prefer an MBA and / or CPA or CMA) and a minimum eight years experience with three to five years of related experience in a position of similar responsibility level. Excellent communication skills and the ability to gain the cooperation and confidence of others are required.  The ability to think on your feet and rapidly adjust to changing priorities is necessary.  The ability to inspire confidence and trust are essential. This opportunity requires a strong team player that is committed to a teamwork environment. Strong documentation skills, reporting skills, and computer skills are required.  Experience working in a manufacturing environment is required. DESIRED:     Desirable attributes include advanced education and strong related experience.  Ability and desire to advance to CFO at Corp in TN.

COMPENSATION:    High: $115,000k plus potential 30% bonus

                                    Low:  $ 100,000k plus potential 30% bonus
