Controls Engineer
** Position is in Romeo**
Job Description
To provide engineering skills and services with in Energy Recovery programs including responsibility for ensuring test and customer vehical operation, supplying on-vehicle in the design and development of diagnostic tools and processes and contributing to ongoing product development and running change control.
Required Skills
Create and develop hydraulic control systems, including control algorithms andcalibrations, for :
1. Intra-system communications, including service tool interaction and data logging
2. Vehicle braking
3. Vehicle operation, including independent body hydraulic systems
4. Transmission control
5. Failure mode and effects management
Develop diagnostic tools and systems used upon innovative vehicle hydraulic control systems. this will require both procedure and technolgy development
1. Track, investigate and resolve issues reported from development fleet vehicles.
2. Track investigate and resolve issues reported from customer fleet vehicles
3. Identification and completion of ongoing product engineering development.
4. Contribute to development of control system areas not under diret responsibility.
5. Work closely with internal engineering teams, customers and suppliers in design, development, calibration, build and test test activities.
6. Maintain an excellent degree of up-to-date knowledge of hydraulic control, service and diagnostic technologies especially electronic tool usage and changing service schedules.
7.Perform the preparation and techncial reports and presentations.
8.Advise responsiuble supervision and managemtn concerning current issues.
9.Enhance relationships with customer and suppliers
10.Perform ethical conduct and maintain a customer focus attitude
11.Maintain awareness of the requirements of the Company Quality system.
12.Observe all safety rules and regulations, act safely and be responsible for the safety of others around the work area.
