CONVERSION ANALYST
As a Conversion Analyst, you will provide analysis, consultation, and training to new and existing Fiserv clients during application conversions to ensure an accurate data conversion and enable clients to effectively function on the Fiserv system. Expected results are client satisfaction, a positive post-conversion survey, and a client recommendation. Meeting and/or exceeding the targeted goal for customer satisfaction, ensuring that systems / processes are operating efficiently through continual improvements to conversion tools, processes and procedures are key accountabilities for this role. The Conversion Analyst may have 12-16 conversion events per year and must be willing to travel regionally.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
- Analyze and determine conversion requirements/specifications and provide clearly documented conversion specifications to programming staff.
- Provide consultation to clients before, during and after conversion, including the development of new department procedures necessitated by the conversion. Assure clients’ internal procedures are changed prior to conversion to accommodate system differences.
- Interpret client’s existing systems and workflows through and including the balancing of conversion data.
- Communicate progress and any potential problems to Conversion Manager for awareness and/or resolution.
- Develop, maintain, and enhance the tools, processes, and procedures necessary to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the conversion process, including: specification gathering, report review, questionnaires, module installations, etc.
- Develop fellow employees in the areas of product knowledge, industry knowledge, and analysis techniques or procedures.
- Provide additional application training to the client before, during and after the conversion, including the correct use of the Fiserv system, on-line terminal assistance and daily application balancing procedures.
- Provide information to client support and operations personnel to enable a smooth and orderly transition to day-to-day processing.
- Assume responsibilities of Project Manager or Conversion Manager as assigned.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:
4-year college degree preferred. Equivalent work experience may be considered
Job Related Experience:
2-5 years banking / credit union experience
Past experience in an analytical and customer facing role
Proficient in basic PC Skills; Microsoft Office applications.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
2-5 years of application knowledge ie: application support and/or installation experience.
Past experience in bank operations. Deposit operations strongly preferred. Ie: ACH, balancing, etc.
Previous experience with Premier banking software preferred
Project management experience
