JOB DESCRIPTION
The essential functions of the Converting Supervisor are to run quality boxes at OEM speeds in a safe, clean, well organized and environmentally compliant plant. The Converting Supervisor allocates 90% their time on the floor leading and driving the crews to ensure production is maintained at OEM speed and any barriers are removed and eliminated in a timely manner. Ensures the quality expectations of all customers are met and all quality procedures are followed. Maximizes efficiencies and minimizes overtime by ensuring all resources are scheduled and utilized efficiently. Trains employees relative to procedures and equipment and evaluates crew performance. Leads, manages, motivates and develops all crew members to achieve their full potential. Leads and directs the safety effort with an expectation and requirement of perfectly safe behavior and an accident free workplace.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Minimum 5 years supervision, management and corrugating production experience with related products and manufacturing processes. In-depth manufacturing knowledge including corrugating and converting equipment. Superior team leadership, management and problem solving skills. Excellent communications, training, motivational and employee development skills. Sound interpersonal skills including the ability to build business relationships, provide recognition, and demonstrate integrity and high personal standards. Must have excellent interpersonal and organizational skills. Working knowledge of computer systems including Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel and Outlook. Knowledge of JDE/KIWI operating systems helpful but not required. College degree or equivalent experience.
