Panera is a specialty bakery cafe concept offering careers as diverse as our breads. Panera Bread is currently looking to hire a highly-motivated individual with strong media skills and marketing experience to fill the role of Media Coordinator. This person will report directly to the Director, Brand Marketing - Media and Advertising Creative and will be a member of Panera's marketing team.
Key Responsibilities
The Media Coordinator will work alongside another Media Coordinator to manage the market-level media plans for all 150+ Panera Bread markets - company and franchise. Media and advertising creative are managed centrally through the Panera Support Center marketing team and retained media planning/buying and advertising creative agencies. The position manages a hub of centralized media information and acts as liaison between the field marketing team and the agencies. Our Media Coordinators manage and track a vast amount of market-level information and data. Successful candidates must possess the ability to forge close working relationships with internal marketing teammates and agency partners. Written and verbal communication, relationship-building, accuracy, problem-solving and managing details and complexity are all key position requirements critical for success in this role.
Accountabilities
· Media plan process management: timeline, communication, updates, scheduling.
· Managing day to day plan changes/maintenance of media plans.
· Daily interface with agency and field in communicating, updating, and presenting media plans.
· Maintaining master documents to track all plan attributes and budgets.
· Managing out-of-home program as liaison between agency and field.
· Developing/applying a working knowledge of basic media concepts, terminology, media math and media plan execution (e.g., TRPs, reach/frequency, ratings, CPM).
· Managing media invoice coding and processing.
· Managing fulfillment of trade for company markets.
· Assisting with media plan presentation prep for internal meetings, Co-op, franchise roundtables.
· Working with field marketing and franchisees/operators to solve media problems (e.g. execution of integrated/added value programs, billing discrepancies, traffic problems).
· Maintaining media/advertising content on company's intranet site.

· Bachelor's degree, preferably with a concentration in advertising, marketing, business
administration, or communications.
· 2-3 years of media experience within a marketing department or agency-side media
planning.
· Experience working with retail brand and/or franchisee businesses a plus.
