Copier Service Technician

Job Description
Active Copier is a small but growing business that services and sells copiers, faxes, scanners and printers. We are looking for service technician who has strong knowledge of sharp and kyocerta/mita systems and products. Must have dependable car to drive to service calls and proper working cell phone.


Duties

  • Installs systems and products by ordering and delivering components; installing equipment; programming systems; completing acceptance tests.
  • Maintains systems and products by responding to problem; conducting tests; diagnosing problems; completing repairs.
  • Maintains records by documenting original system, upgrades, and repairs.
  • Complies with regulations by adhering to codes, specifications, and rules.
  • Keeps installation equipment and vehicle operating by following operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; maintaining supplies; preventive maintenance; arranging for repairs.
  • Updates job knowledge by completing re-certification; participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications.

Skills/Qualifications
If you have the following qualifications, we want to hear from you:

  • 1+ years of mid to high level technical knowledge gained through completion of manufacture training
  • Ability to manage a territory, inventory, and customer relationships.
  • Team player with positive, winning attitude.
  • Valid Driver's license
  • Knowledge of copier systems and products, specifically sharp and kyocerta/mita.


Required Skills:
Customer service, professionalism, technical understanding, system administration, problem solving, present technical information, dependability, thoroughness, and operating systems.
