Overview:
Work collaboratively with the Creative Director and other members of the marketing department in the development of marketing materials.
Responsibilities:
• Write and edit all marketing materials including:
o Website Content
o Call Center Scripts
o Print Ads
o Email Campaigns
o Web Ads and Banners
o Direct Mail
o Sales Collateral
o Broadcast
o Press Releases
o Additional external and internal Communications as-needed
• Maintain and enforce consistent corporate and product messaging and brand voice throughout the consumer experience
• Maintain corporate standards for all published material
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Prioritize accordingly to ensure on time delivery of copy and creative product.
• Provide support to Creative Director with the design and production of advertising and marketing materials using Photoshop, Illustrator, graphic file formats, typography, and design.
• Provide detailed proofing and editing at all stages of a project
• Participate in strategic and creative brainstorming sessions
Qualifications:
• 2-5+ years of advertising/marketing copywriting experience
• Experience in writing content for web sites required
• Experience writing promotional copy including online and print advertising a plus
• Broad understanding of brand, the importance of consistency in voice and how strategy translates into concept
Excellent copywriting, editing, proofreading and grammar skills
Strong verbal communication and presentation skills
• Ability to multi-task
Proficient in PC software, Microsoft Office, Photoshop and Illustrator
• Ability to meet short deadlines and work in fast-paced environment
Ability to interface with all levels of management
Candidates chosen for interviews will be asked to supply recent samples of sales or promotional materials they have written
Education
Bachelors Degree in English, Journalism, Advertising, Marketing or related field
