Candidate Profile

The Company desires a highly qualified talented individual with a successful history as a corporate controller. The successful candidate will possess:

•  Significant prior experience as a corporate controller.

  A CPA designation.

  Prior experience in public accounting.

  Strong knowledge of IT systems and IT-based accounting systems.

   Significant experience with international operations, including complex consolidation accounting experience.

  Experience in a high transaction volume environment.

  Strong interpersonal skills.

  High integrity.

Description of Position

Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, the Corporate Controller will be responsible for all aspects of the worldwide accounting function at Vesta including financial reporting, financial operations, development and management of internal controls, and the consolidation of results of wholly-owned foreign operations and joint ventures.  The candidate will supervise payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable and the general ledger maintenance functions. In addition to a substantial local staff, the Corporate Controller will also manage international finance and accounting staff in the company’s offices in Ireland and China.  The Corporate Controller will be primarily responsible for working with outside auditors of all types.  The Corporate Controller will also work closely with the treasury function on tax, cash management, financial planning and management reporting. 

The Corporate Controller is a full-time position based in Portland, Oregon. Salary will be commensurate with experience. Candidates will be required to sign a strict confidentiality agreement and be willing to undergo an extensive background check prior to employment.
